I just replied to Brec's comment, and I'm sharing it via post to make sure everyone understands. Including me dear husband... who set wordpress up. for me. because blogger never seems to work correctly.
ANYWAY! the comment;

I had NEVER heard of wordpress before, but I was trying to post over here and the pictures wouldn't go where I wanted them too, the text color wouldn't change no matter how hard I tried to get it too and the font doesn't even change size for Mike! So, with my complaints expressed to Mike, he sat down, waved his hands over the keyboard and voila! we had

a wordpress account. We are just trying it out. So far it is complicated, but blogger was for me at first too! BUT, you cannot follow bogs over at wordpress :( So who knows, we may just have to move back here.

So there you have it folks. I must say though, it is kind of fun to have a change of scenery.
Perhaps this is just a nice vacation.
So please, tell me your thoughts on this. I would like to know;
1) who would read our blog over at wordpress?
2) does anyone even read our blog here? and,
3) why you do/don't like wordpress

WE HAVE MOVED

Chocolatechipwaffles is now over at wordpress. We're keeping our blog here at blogger too, but our new posts will be over at our new location. we would love for you to start following us there, please do? it is Bueno Mucho! Yes, those are the words I chose. Over at wordpress, the page we picked was titled Bueno. The words were already up at the top, so we decided to go with it. Hopefully they won't lie. I had finally figured out how things worked over here in blogworld, now I've got to figure out how they run over at wordworld. We'll see how it goes..

Something so wonderful has to be shared!

So I have known about making lights look like hearts by pulling some magic with your camera for quite some time now. Don't you love fun little things?!
THEN, I found GLASSES, yes, GLASSES that magically turn any light at which you look, into a LOVEerly heart. You just put these glasses on, and voila! hearts. everywhere. Isn't that awesome!? You can only imagine my excitement when I discovered them. I couldn't keep something so fun all to myself, it makes me smile more than I already do! Yeah. You read that right. And you are all wondering, "is that even possible?" Yes folks, yes it is.
So get yourself and all your friends, co-workers, neighbors, traffic guards, everyone you know, or don't! a pair! Can you imagine how happy everyone would be if they all owned a pair of these awesome cardboard beauties?! Pretty fun guys. P. RETTY FUN.

a wonderful life

I was recently chatting with a close friend.

This friend and I go back many years together.

I am very lucky to have such a close friend with a one of a kind friendship.

We are always going to one another for advice.

Tonight He needed advice from me, and by asking for my help, he ended up helping me out!

It is always nice when that happens.

In our conversation this scripture came up.
D&C 5:24 "Behold, I say unto him, he exalts himself and does not humble himself sufficiently before me; but if he will bow down before me, and humble himself in mighty prayer and faith, in the sincerity of his heart, then will I grant unto him a view of the things which he desires to see." He told me that while in the temple, this scripture came to him and he was not sure why. He is trying to be less prideful.

PRIDEFUL

I don't like the word.

When I read this scripture, I immediately thought of what I wanted to tell him to help him out. Very quickly this scripture that was "his" soon became "mine." I read it again and I got my own answer out of it.

Our conversation continued, and He told me that while in the temple it came to his attention that for the longest time, he has had a book mark in Doctrine and Covenants 5 for quite some time now. He did not know why, but when he started reading from its book marked place, he found this scripture and it was clear to him. It is so amazing to me how God answers our prayers, little ways people would not readily notice. We must have clear minds, and open hearts.

I am thankful for

Temples. Trust. The Gospel. Close friends. My wonderful husband. & love.

This video is corny, but was fitting. I sent it his way and he was grateful. It is all to true. In every day life, in many different situations. Whether it's a secret crush, or a phone call to a sister, it seems like more often than not, this happens to us.
