Weekend Roundup!

Had a BBQ for Justin's Friend Ryan, who is getting married on June 28th. (Congratulations)

We Took Bryttan's Nephew and his friend to his first ever Baseball Game. And I got really good seats. Right behind home-plate :)

Got invited to a WONDERFUL church...okay not really, this is just awful.

Made Cookies on Sunday as I had so many bags of Chocolate Chips that I had purchased for National Chocolate Chip Day.

We had a wonderful dinner at my Mom's house, and played Frisbee, and Footbal. And had a Hands-Up Stands-Up Competition, to which I won 4 rounds of :)

Not so Fun Dip

Why is that fun dip is only fun for a few minutes...then it just becomes awful.

It gets everywhere, your tongue starts to feel funny, and you've already eaten the sugar stick so you're forced to eat the rest of the powder with your finger.

Stupid fun dip :(

Tomorrow is National Chocolate Chip Day!

Okinomiyaki!

I made Okinomiyaki with Bryttan last night. Mmm Delicious :)

Sadly the only picture I took was of Bryttan peeling a potatoe...but she has more pictures!

Ginger Mints!

So I'm wearing a jacket I haven't worn since 2004, and in the pocket I found a full tin of Ginger Altoids, which expired Feb. 2006, but alas, I'm eating them anyway.

I love ginger mints. :)

Who wants to go Spelunking! Sorta...

Bryttan and I, or maybe just me..I'm unsure at this point...

Want to go explore Death Canyon! And the abandoned mine that is there.

It will be quite fun, I don't know exactly when we will go,  but it will be soon, (hopefully we don't die)

Evelyn Evelyn

So I came upon a compilation of Amanda Palmer and Jason Webly called Evelyn Evelyn.

Almost everyone I know will hate their music (This is of course talking to you Mom, Karin, Brian, David, Dad, Angela, pretty much all of my family) But I love it.

The Album tells the story of fictional Siamese-Twin sisters Evelyn and Evelyn. The music is very...odd? It's like a Danny Elfman / Tim Burton meets Carnival Folk. And I've been listening to it for the past 2 days.

Love it.

I suggest those that enjoy odd music, check them out.

I got to use my huge pan!

FINALLY!

For Cinco De Mayo, I finally got to use my HUGE pan. I cooked Chicken and Steak and Vegetables and peppers and all sorts of deliciousness in it. I have been waiting to have something that would actually take a pan this big to cook in.
