Oh crafty Ryan

Tell me you'v seen these. You haven't? Well then get ready to laughograph, because these pictures of Ryan Gosling saying just what every crafty girl wants to hear, are perfect.

The best part is Ryan Gosling is so much like Ikle in these, it's hilarious. I've seriously got the sweetest husband any crafty girl could wish for.

If that isn't love, I don't know what is.

The only way they could be better is if James Franko were in the pictures too. But I'm pretty sure that's just my own personal preference. Not everyone likes James, but everyone loves a Ryan Gosling. Thank you, The Notebook. Am I right?

I love it. Kudos to whoever thought of this first.

Hope you're having a good week so far!

Oh Sunday

Today...

...Brec and Taiger left. But only after we laughed at a few of these for a while.
*I'm going to need a whole post devoted to these. They're too good. This one reminded me too much of my dear Mr.

>>>
...I have been listening to Indieheaven. Why not?

>>>

...Mike made delicious Blueberry pancakes and I added a few powdered sugar orange slices to mine. Yum.

>>>

...We didn't make it to Church this morning. Family was here, and I've been feeling crummy. But we did however watch these together, all cuddled up on the couch with full bellies. I love these videos our church put out. I recommend watching no matter what religion you are.

>>>
Hope you are all having a nice relaxing Sunday too!

Oh phrekyphone app. How fun you are.
My sister and nephew came to visit and we've been having so much fun. Taiger got a really bad cold while here, but all in all we've had a good time. I wish they didn't have to leave, It's so fun when my family comes to visit! Plus, my family is pretty much the greatest.

Hey good lookin'

See this hot, incredibly gorgeous, stud of a muffingenius guy?
I love him.

Well at about 1:00 this morning I hear him saying things one says, when they realize that something very horrible has just happened. Such as,
"CRAP!" "NO!" "SHOOT!" "DANG IT!" "GARBAGE!" "EEERR!"
SIGH
Followed by a lot of this.
"NONONONONONONONONONONONO!"...."CU+RAP!"

When your husband is using words such as these, you are not sure if you want to go with Plan A. and say something, in hopes of being of some comfort, or if you should choose Plan B. and just keep your big mouth shut as not to agitate him and make things worse.
I chose plan A.

Luckily for me, I've got a good hearted husband.
Of course I feel like a complete idiot sometimes, courtesy of him. He is Male, let us not forget. But all in all, he keeps his cool, and I am one lucky lady!

So as I am standing next to him, making sure not to say something wrong, and be more of an annoyance than anything, I come to find that he has removed EVERYTHING from his computer. Obviously a completely accidental click of the wrong button.

This is no small thing. This is not like when you delete a really long email you have been typing to a friend, or when you lose a blog post about a pair of pants you spilled cranberry juice on, last Saturday, while eating breakfast at the office. This, my friends, IS HIS WORK!
Mike is a web developer, designer, seo, ceo, I don't know, he knows how to Robot out. He's impressive. Everything he does, is on his computer.
And everything on his computer, is gone.
Not just his code, but every single picture he has ever painted for work, every single picture we have ever taken together, every video, every download, I'm talking EVERYTHING. My poor husband. I have faith in him though. He is a genius.

I love that he keeps his cool, works hard, and hums when he is thinking, upset, and working really, really hard.

Get your nerd on, babe. May the force be with you.

Officially freaked....

....OUT!

I couldn't make it through the first 20 seconds! I wasn't sure if I should laughograph or cry, so I sat there terrified instead. I still haven't made it past the first 30 seconds. I pushed play again and started laughing. A lot. I think the laughter came more from being confused and a little unsure of what I was watching/hearing.
I really don't know if this is a boy or a girl or what age he/she is.

Here. Watch for yourself.

>>>>>

K so I just listened to all of it. welliskippedaroundalittle. Not bad, but I can't forget my awful confused shock I had in the first 20 seconds of watching it the first time. Seriously. It wigs me out guys!
But I think it could grow on me..

Sometimes...

Sometimes...

It's hard for me
to go day after day, not being able to drive.

I'm reminded of how much I love Disneyland, every time I see a commercial for it.

I feel self-conscious when I feel like I have food in my teeth.

I am mildly dishonest when I get packages in the mail  to the previous tendant, and I have to open them just to peak at what's inside!

I can't imagine a world without music.

I'm surprised that I still think I will get my BFFs Christmas gifts to him by Christmas, even after all these years.
Valentines day is looking hopeful.

I get a little too easily wrapped up in finding new places to go travel to with Mike, and
strolling the streets of France via Google Street View

I indulge in guilty pleasures like going out to get hot Cocoa with Mr. Wolf, when we've got perfectly edible Cocoa at home

I wish all things in life were as wonderful as flying.

Lay your bright eyes on this

You have all seen the picture floating around the world wide web comparing Hitlers mom to Michael Cera.

Weird, right?

Well yesterday Mike sent me this.

He and a buddy at work made this video together and it is glorious.
Similar vids are going around the internet, but not any as good as this one. Maybe I'm just being partial, but it's okay, he's my husband.
If you don't think it is pure greatness, then you don't know awesome when you see it.

Watch it. Laugh at it. Love it. Share it.
 Because it is epic.
Yes, I just used the word EPIC in my post. And I stand by it.

Oh Clair

I love the movie Little Women.
 Love it.

I think everyone can relate to one, if not all, of the characters in the story.
My Mom and sister have always said that Meg and Beth remind them of me. Meg is the youngest and speaks of her turquoise ring, and Beth's personality in the movie/book is me to a tee.
Think about it...
I haven't ever thought that Clair Danes was the most beautiful girl in the world, but she is pretty, so I'm okay with people saying that I look like her!
After seeing her on the Golden Globes Awards last night, and my Dad telling me that every time he sees her he is reminded of me, I decided to look into it a little more. I have decided that she has a very beautiful unique look.
Clair Danes is in a lot of movies that I really enjoy, too.
Les Miserable. Stardust. Romeo + Juliet..
The list goes on.

Now go watch Little Women, it will make you cry. Then you can read the book because it is good too.

Far from identical, but I can totally see it the similarities.
It's taken me a few years, but I'm starting to see what everyone else is seeing.

Who do you look like?

Mikes about to kill me

It may be a little more pricey than we can do... but let's not think about that.

I know I am complaining about the little cupboard space to hold everything now, but if Mike and I could leave and live out of country, I would sell everything I have to do it.
 I really would.

There are a few different places I would really like to go, and one of the places is looking very promising for the near future! I'm really excited. But that will only be a short visit, as Mike won't be able to work while we are there. We only be there to volunteer at the home. So for after that is done, I picture Mike and I living in this little apartment in Paris. Walking outside to go to our favorite little cafe for lunch.
He would work from home on his computer, and I would sit there and paint while we listen to music together. Then I'd step outside to take a stroll and snap some pictures.

In the evenings when he get's done working, we would take a walk down the street together and look out at the Eiffel Tower, lit up in all it's glory.

On the weekends, we would find some fun adventure to take. Most likely hit the touristy areas, go to museums, and enjoy the beauty of it all.
We wouldn't have to stay long. 6 Months to a year if we wanted. We would have internet almost anywhere we went, I'm sure.
Mike, I believe I was told you could work from home if we lived out of country and had internet.. like in Paris..
... i hope you wouldn't get fired.

Yup, I can see it all now. We look good together in Paris.

and after that we can hit Greece.

*Note: I have not used them in my travels. If anything happens to you, or your belongings while going through Sublet, you cannot yell at me on this blog or hold me responsible.I will however, buy you a pair of $5 sunglasses to replace your Dolce & Gabbanas that were stolen from your apartment. Only because that is how kind I am.

Littlerockarkansas!

When I got home from visiting my family in Idaho last week, Mike had done something super amazing.

He had done laundry, hung up a lot of my clothes, and not only that,  he did his best to make all the hangers a finger space apart. Is he the best or what?!
Now, to most people this probably wouldn't mean anything, but here at our house, it meant the world!
BIG SMILES TO TIMBUKTU AND BACK AGAIN!

To thank him I did the only thing I know how to do... I made him something! No, not involving food. I hope you weren't seriously thinking that. Did you forget who was writing this post?

Every guy loves clothes, right?? Oh... they don't? Well, I'm lucky my guys good at lying. He knows what his girl likes to hear.
But who wouldn't love this shirt...

Yup. So lucky.

You probably don't know her..

..I hardly know her.  But I know who She is.
Her name is Charity, but she goes by Two. And she needs help.

Her family and my family are old friends. I have never met her in person, but I most certainly know who she is.

I have special prayers out for special people in my life, who are in extra need of our Heavenly Father right now. I just found out that she is one of them. Please pray for her.

"It's such an odd and terrible thing to wait and hope and pray for an organ donation. Two's life is literally hanging by a thread, and the only thing that can save her is a tragedy in someone else's world. I don't like to think about it. Who would?" -Charity's family member.

You  can read about her here, & here.
She needs all the love and prayers you can give her right now. I know that if She were able to, and knew we were praying for her, she would thank us personally.

Please pray for Charity and her family. And go read about her.

Meet Adelyn

Adelyn is my gorgeous sister in-laws first baby.
She is a beautiful baby girl who has just recently figured out how to smile, and lucky Aunt Bryttan got a big smile the other night at Christmas dinner.
Everyone adores her and we are all so lucky to have her in our lives.
*Mike at the hospital with Adelyn, only a few days after She arrived.

Yesterday we attended Adelyns baby blessing.
It was beautiful.

Karin's Mother in-law made her the most beautiful blessing gown. Karin then told me the night before, that she would love it if I made Adelyn a headband to wear.
I couldn't have been happier. I got home and gathered up all the white material I could find and began sewing/gluing.
More gluing than sewing went on. Let's be honest here.

I felt pretty silly having Karin pair my simple hair clip, with something so surreal!
Just a good example of how awesome my in-laws are. I'm really lucky to be part of such a sweet family.

Mike and I are so happy to have another niece, too. We are so excited to be part of her life and watch her grow.
Congratulations again, Karin and Brett.
We love you guys!

*I made three different flowers so that she could choose which one she liked the best. I didn't know what shade of white the dress was, or what it looked like. She chose the flower with the pearl, as it matched the dress perfectly.
Karin designed the dress, and it was beautiful. It was an off white dress with accents of lace and pearls, giving it an elegant vintage feel. Perfect for Adelyn.

I had bought a picture to give to her and placed it in a new white frame. I tied it up in 2 paper doilies, wrapped it up with white ribbon, and hooked a handmade bracelet onto it. Courtesy of a friend.

My plunger? Really?

Really Mr. Fix it guy? That's revolting!

Mikes been in a meeting all day.. which he rocked!
Way to go, Babe! More on that later :)
I've been sewing and working from home while catching all of my wall decor as it falls from the walls with every bang on the roof.
We have had pieces of roof falling not only outside of our house and covering every inch of ground lately, but inside, too! It's a new decor thing I'm trying.

They have removed the very old and disgusting swamp cooler while re-doing our roof, so we have been able to experience what it would be like to have a sky roof! It's not so fun when there is no glass covering the opening and all you see is the man on the roofs crotchal area.

We have been able to listen to some really loud Mexican and bad 90's music for the past few days, not by choice of course. But it's cool.
Blasting bad music from our rooftop. It's another thing we're trying.

The guys come bright and early in the morning, and Mike refers to them as our "Disco Dancing upstairs neighbors."
I would move if that was real. Or go meet them and party it up! ...at 7:00 in the morning. Yes I know I just said that they come bright and early in the morning, but 7:00 is early for me!

So they were leaving, and I hurried and caught our very friendly, Mr. Fix it guy. Why, you ask? Because our sink was plugged and leaking. A lot.
Remember how this is a rental home? Yeah, so everything that happens is double disgusting. I don't know who's nastyness was in that sink, or for how long it was sitting there!
Casey comes in and looks at it. And then, he asked me if I had a plunger. Yup. It's true.
I told him that the only plunger I had was my toilet plunger in the bathroom. He looked at me for a moment and then realized that I wasn't going to go get it.
"Would that bother you having it in your sink?"
"Uh,YES!"
He laughed.
Do you need one?
That's up to you, he said.
I'm okay with a clogged sink, I replied.
I told him I would go buy a new one at the store if I had to.
He told me he would try to fix it with out it.
I told him my dad would probably just make me go get the nasty toilet one if he were here fixing it.
He told me that I had to go get the nasty toilet one then.
I told him there was no way in heck I was going to. -Why? Because he wasn't my dad.

He got it unclogged but it smells TERRIBLE now! REALLY SMELLY.
Like think the nasty, gross, most vomit inducing thing you could smell, and multiply it by like 1000.
I don't know what to do about that...

Seriously though? Toilet plunger??
GROSS!
