80's Movie Sunday!

Today was 80's movie Sunday, and we decided to watch "Little Shop of Horrors" what a wonderful little musical. Rick Morianis, what a guy.

AND it was a double feature because we also watched "labyrinth", David Bowie, you are what's wrong with everything in the 80's.

Last week we watched "Some Kind of Wonderful", which was just an odd little film, and the week before that it was "Lucas", a film about a little 14 year old boy who wants an older girl in his highschool who likes the jock guy who makes fun of him. You know, the normal HS story.

It's been a week!?

So I know it's Fashion Friday, but I have had pneumonia (very, very miserable. A lot of un-swallowing) so I have nothing. Not a good enough excuse? I can come up with another... My family came to visit, and it was so fun to have them here for 2 days! We went out to Olive Garden, I went to Temple square with my Dad and nephew, and we watched RED. I have missed my nephew so much that I let them leave Him with us and take a break. His mom is in school, (and single!) anyone know a "lonely Daddy?" as Taiger would say, and Taiger talks, A lot, and ALL THE TIME. So I figured it was a good break for everyone. Still not a good enough reason why I don't have anything? Dang, cause that's all I have. Oh well. Can I just say though, that I LOVE fashion SO much. Clothes are like Heaven all sewn up into wonderful fabrics. Fashion designers are AMAZING, I am fascinated by some of their imaginations. And the models, how incredibly fun would that be. If only I were taller than 5' 3". Anyway, you get the point, it's for me to write about what I love, what I have stumbled upon during my week. Fashion Fridays are strictly for FUN. And a little day dreaming ** So here, I'll show you this suit that I found. I think I like it! It's very much fun. I have been looking at spring/summer clothing like crazy. Mostly swimming attire. IT's my latest obsession. I know it's because the only suit that I have ever owned that actually came from somewhere other that Shopko, on clearance, and was not a top to one match and a bottom to another, was one I ordered from ALLOY..love.. My dear wonderful Mom bought it for me. Now Mike and myself are lucky enough to be taking a cruise this March. A WONDERFUL Christmas present form Angela and Mark. Thanks guys! And so I am looking for a real, not Shopko, actually matching suit.

Yes this one is from Khols, but I LOVE shopping sales! The cheaper the find, the better. This one I must say, is expensive and not on sale. I'm pretty sure I wont be getting it anyway, but like I said, daydreaming! I want a BIG RED HAT to wear with my suit. The Hat's the highlight of the cruise for me! If you don't know me, you are probably thinking I am out of my mind and if you are any one of my in-laws you are probably taking offense to this! But if you know me, you know that it's true. Designing, Fashion, my CLOTHES! They mean a lot to me. I love my little sale items. So much. And a cruise is just the perfect excuse to by myself cute clothes and a big hat!

why did I need coffee now? FF

FF? FRIDAYS FASHION. what is that? I don't know, but it's happening.
And today is this lady.

That sweat shirt is truly flattering on her like this sweatshirt wearing peach!
secret: they're sisters

and she is definitely rocking the glitter gel hair clip WITH ha
ir extension. Just like Pinky Pie Pony!

I wish I could meet her, visit a little while and get some pointers on fashion. She wouldn't have time for me though, She's too busy backin' up. Her daddy taught her good.

So here we are! because of this lady, there is a song. And because there is a ridiculous song, we have to dance. And when we have to dance, this is what happens. A fun time is had by ALL.

December Happenings

So we have done a lot lately, and have yet to write about everything. So to play catch up, and have record that we actually were alive and
not hermits this winter, I am going to show you some pictures of what we have been up to. I would like to write about everything, but I know that I wouldn't be able to, and the chances are, I would probably end up deleting my post or something by accident. So, here are pictures with short captions.
Happy Looking!

My nephews LOVE Michael. Especially because he has Monkey Island, and apparently that is the coolest game ever. This was Christmas number 3, and it was at my parents house in Idaho. It was fun being there with my family.

On the North Pole Train, it was supposed to be the Polar Express train ride, but for whatever reasons, it was called the North Pole Express. Either way, we had SO MUCH FUN. We met interesting people, sang carols, drank hot cocoa and saw Santa! We only almost died a few times driving home, but the canyon was SO beautiful, Oh my goodness! This picture is our Train conductor punching out tickets. It was a fun ride fpr Kids, but who are we kidding, we still act like children :) We had FUN!

This is a delicious roll we ate at "The Roof" for Mr. Mikes company Christmas Party. It was a lot of fun and also very cold walking back to our car. We got there early so that we could walk around Temple square and look at the light though. As always they were pretty. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to see the nativities, but the good thing is, we have SO MANY Christmases to spend together.

At The Joseph Smith Memorial Building *****

Bryndon, April, and Bradshaw were at our house (not unusual) and so I decided to turn on National Lampoon's Christmas vacation and make s'mores in our gas fire place. YUM. Michael and I were the only ones who made them, and boy did everyone else miss out. I LOVE S'mores!!! It was a ridiculously good time.
